involved with... Get inspired!!!The Laguna Beach HIV Advisory Council held a celebration at Main Beach
with music, crafts, and free testing. This was my first time with a booth
for the podcast. Folks stopped by to leave messages.Terry Delonas, creator and long term survivor, comes by to talk about
LipoWear; Sit Relief Shorts and how it's changing the lives of HIV+
folks with lipoatrophy and sitting pain. Joyce Swaving, Michelle Sherman, and Sarah Kasman come by to talk about
the history of World AIDS Day in Laguna Beach and some pointers in
getting one started in your area!I was invited to speak at the school and was able to reach about 150
students over 5 classes. Thank you to Mr Derek Ochi, their teacher, for
opening his classroom. This was the first class of the day, so I may be
off a little bit!In the third part, I get to join the conversation along with two HIV+
ladies, Bruce Vancil, Dr Derrick, and Lenée Richards. A very complete
panel answering questions.
